Does Vizr really work without internet?

Yes. After the one-time model download during setup, everything (chat, writing, code, tasks) runs on your Mac's own hardware. You can turn Wi-Fi off entirely and Vizr won't notice.

What hardware do I need?

On Mac, any Apple Silicon model (M1 or later) with 8GB of memory works. On Windows, a 64-bit PC running Windows 10 or later with 8GB of memory works. 16GB gives you the smoothest experience with larger models on either platform. Vizr checks your hardware on first launch and picks a model that fits.

Is the free version actually free?

Yes. Download Vizr and every feature is unlocked free for 7 days, no account and no card required. A one-time $29 Pro license keeps everything unlocked after that.

Where does my data go?

Nowhere. Conversations, documents, and generations are stored only on your device. There's no server to send them to and no account to attach them to. See the privacy policy for the full plain-English version.

Is $29 really one-time?

Yes. One payment, permanent license, all future updates included. If a paid major version ever exists someday, your current version keeps working forever regardless.
