Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Vizr ("we", "us") is an independent software product distributed at vizr.live. This policy explains what information is and isn't handled when you visit our website or use the Vizr application.

2. The Vizr application

Vizr is designed so that your data does not leave your device:

• Conversations and content. Everything you type into Vizr, and everything it generates, is processed by an AI model running locally on your Mac and stored only on your Mac. We never receive, see, or store this content.
• No account. Vizr does not require registration, so we hold no name, email, or profile connected to your use of the app.
• Offline operation. After the one-time model download during setup, Vizr functions without an internet connection.

3. Limited network activity

The app makes network requests only in these cases:

• Model download (one-time). On first launch, Vizr downloads an AI model so it can run locally. This request does not include any of your content.
• License verification (Pro only). If you purchase Pro, your license key is verified once with our payment provider, Gumroad. Only the key itself is transmitted — never your conversations or documents. See Gumroad's privacy policy for how they handle purchase data.
• Update checks. Vizr may check for new versions. This request contains no personal content.

4. Purchases

Pro purchases are processed by Gumroad, which collects the payment and contact information needed to complete your order (such as email and payment details). We receive from Gumroad only what is necessary to deliver your license. We do not store your payment card details.

5. The vizr.live website

Our website may use basic, privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic (such as page views and referral sources). We do not use advertising trackers and we do not sell any data. Photos displayed on the site may be loaded from Pexels, whose servers receive standard technical request data (such as your IP address) when images load, as with any web content.

6. Data retention and deletion

Because your Vizr content lives only on your device, deleting it is entirely in your hands — remove conversations inside the app or uninstall the app to erase everything. For purchase records held by Gumroad, contact Gumroad or us and we'll help.

7. Children

Vizr is a general-purpose productivity tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children — and by design, we collect almost nothing from anyone.

8. Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above. Material changes will be noted in release notes.
